Your loved one is no longer forced to choose just one or two favorite photos, but they can load all of their favorites into a single frame and see them regularly. You can add photos to the frame or change what is loaded as your loved one wishes.
5. E-READER
E-Readers can be great for anyone, but especially for those who love to read and may have limited space to store books. Your loved one can purchase any book they like and keep it on their reader indefinitely — and the text size can be adjusted so your loved one doesn’t have to strain their eyes. You can also purchase books for your loved one and have them sent to the E-Reader. There are a variety of brands, so do your research and see which may be best suited for your loved one.
If you are looking for a great gift for a loved one in assisted living, don’t assume that the best is expensive. There are all types of gifts that you can give that cost virtually nothing. Get creative and personal. These are often the best gifts anyway.
